Loved and Not Forgotten
| COLLEEN DIEDERICH Passed away Jan 8th 2006 |

Wayne Diederich stopped in Today 4/8/06 , bringing us the news of Colleen's death. We loved our sweet little Colleen
and Bucky sensed immediately something was wrong when Wayne got out of the motorhome alone. I asked "Where's our little girl"?
Then he shared his sad news. Colleen will be missed by all at Okatoma. She was so vibrant and always happy. She was fun to
be around. She and Wayne were like two teenagers in love. Always on the go and truly enjoying everything they did together.
She will remain in our hearts forever.
Our Darling Gloria Polk passed away on February 27th 2006. She died after a long battle with cancer. She fought long
and hard and never gave up or lost hope. Our deepest sympathy to her husband Jimmy and family. Our sympathy to all her
fellow campers (Miss-Lou Promenaders) and friends who will surely miss her. We all loved her dearly. May she rest in peace
in the kingdom of our Lord. God Bless and Keep Her. Thanks so much to Frances Babin for keeping us informed of her condition
and passing.

| Dave made it happen |
Bucky and I received an E-mail from Dave Doupe in late September. He wrote: Hi. As you know , Sylvia was having severe
back pain when we were there on March 31. We were also having belt problems with the motorhome. Trying to keep the motorhome
on the road and help Sylvia manage her pain proved to be too much for me. On April 7th( Our travel insurance expired on the
8th) I was in an accident near Kansas City. I was able to prevent damage to the motorhome and Sylvia but fractured 4 vertebrae,
cracked my left hip and was bruised from my lungs down to mid-thigh. I was in hospital and Sylvia was left to manage her pain
alone. on April 9 the travel insurance people phoned and I asked if we could be flown home. we arrived back home that night.
I got Sylvia to a doctor, we continued to manage her pain with stronger narcotics. we thought the narcotics were causing her
thinking to go awry. Test found cancer in her kidneys; further tests found cancer in her left lung. Finally a CAT Scan showed
that her mental problems were not caused by medication, but cancer of the brain. I had the house equipped with oxygen
and brought her home from the hospital. The days were hard work, but Sylvia was her best during the night. We would get up
around 1 AM, sit out on the back porch and talk for hours. These are the times I remember most. Sylvia said she wanted to
pass away in her own bed with my arms around her. That was the way it happened on July 11, 2004. As ever Dave
May Sylvia rest in peace and love. She was loved at Okatoma.
